This coaster spent a few years traveling the carnivals and fairs of Europe. It was designed to be portable. Rather than anchoring the ride into the ground, three large vats of water are used as weight to secure the ride in place. A gallon of water weighs 8.34 pounds. A cubic foot of water weighs 62.4 pounds. This tank has tens of thousands of pounds of water in it. When this ride was traveling, filling and dumping these water tanks was much easier than hauling around tons of weights from location to location.
