This ride originally was one of two shuttle loop coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure called Lightning Loops. It was one of two coasters that opened in 1978 that had interlocking loops. Two shuttle loops were built at 90-degree angles to one another, with one ride higher above the ground so the two vertical loops were interlocking. This ride was the lower loop.
The upper loop was moved to Adventure World near Washington, DC and opened in 1994 as Python. It was disassembled in 1999 when the park switched to Six Flags America. The ride sat in storage and was eventually scrapped in 2005.
