Boats are firmly attached to track rails while in the station, climbing the lift, plunging down the hills, and going into the water. As the boat finishes its big splashdown, the rails end and the boat floats free in the water for a while. A trough forces the boats to make a right 180-degree turn to the station. After entering the station, boats are hoisted up slightly and once again placed on a track.
