The straight section of track pictured below is the end of the launching section of the ride. Right after departing the station, trains are attached to a huge cable located between the coaster's rails. A massive hydraulic motor housed beneath the track pulls on the cable to propel the trains rapidly down the track. Trains accelerate from a standstill up to 75 kilometres (47 miles) per hour. This forward momentum is enough to move the trains through the rest of the ride all the way back to the unloading platform.
