I was enthralled at how this old coaster is still operated. There are no ride operators to dispatch trains out of stations. The brakemen simply look for other trains or the occasional red or green light like the one on the upper left of this image. Once the way is clear, brakemen just release the brakes, and the trains coast out of the station.
This brakeman is wearing the standard tie as well as a safety harness to keep him secure while standing up during the ride.
