I was surprised by many of the play areas set up for kids at Fårup. Some of the activities seemed a little dangerous to me. The huge climbing towers and dozens of trampolines made me state that I had never seen such activities at amusement parks in the lawsuit-happy United States. And just a few hours after I made that statement, one of my friends was jumping on a trampoline when he fell and dislocated his shoulder. On the plus side, the Danish health care took him on a 45-minute ambulance ride to the nearest hospital, treated him, and didn't charge him anything for his care!
