Comet

Why such an empty train?  If you look carefully, you will see that these people have on nametags.  They are participating in the America Coaster Enthusiasts Summer Conference held here in 2009.  During this event, ACE honored this ride by giving it "ACE Roller Coaster Landmark" status, a designation reserved for rides of historical significance.  As a special treat for ACE members, Comet ran for several hours of "Exclusive Ride Time" when the park was not open to the general public.  I personally rode it a couple of dozen times before taking a break to photograph the ride!
