
Jolly Roger Amusement Park
Ocean City, Maryland
   The Jolly Roger Amusement Park 
consists of two golf courses, 10 race tracks in the Speedworld section of the 
park, the Splash Mountain 
water park, a number of small rides, and two roller coasters.  However, 
nearly ten coasters have left the park:
	- 
	Firecracker (1998) was a Pinfari Z47 
	model.  It was first Cyclone at Ohio's Geauga Lake from 1976 to 1980, 
	then Blitzen and Firecracker at Holiday World in Indiana from 1981 to 
	1997.
 
	- 
	Gallassia (1960 to the late 1970s) was 
	a steel coaster, possibly a Galaxi model.
 
	- 
	King Kobra (1987-1989) was a 
	Schwarzkopf shuttle loop utilizing a dropped weight to launch the train.  
	It originally was King Kobra at Kings Dominion in Virginia from 1977 to 1986, 
	went to the United Kingdom where it was Thunderlooper from 1990 to 
	1996, and is presently in Brazil where it has been running as Katapul 
	at Hopi Hari since 1999.

	Looping Star (1984 to 1985) was a 
	Schwarzkopf Looping Star model.
 
	- 
	Miller's Gold Mine (late 1980s) was a 
	Wild Mouse from the Allan Hershell Company.  It later went to 
	Brooklyn's Coney Island where it ran until 1994.
 
	- 
	Racing (2007) was a Flitzer model from 
	Zierer.
 
	- 
	Twister (1987 to 1993) was also called
	Time Twister.  It was a Vekoma "Corkscrew with Bayerncurve" 
	model.  It ran in Germany as Super Spirale at Movie Park Germany 
	from 1979 to 1986.  It is presently Corkscrew at Genting Theme 
	Park in Malaysia.
 
	- 
	Wild Mouse (2002 to 2006) was a "Wilde Maus 
	Classic" from Maurer Söhne.  It is expected to open in 2009 at 
	Maine's Funtown Splashtown U.S.A.
 
	- 
	Wildcat (1999 to 2001) was a Wildcat 
	"65m" model from Schwarzkopf.  It started as Wildcat at Ohio's 
	Cedar Point from 1970 to 1978.  It then was in Minnesota's Valleyfair! 
	from 1979 to 1998.  It was called Wild Rails as well as just 
	Rails.
