Santa Monica West Coaster
The original Pacific Wheel Ferris Wheel provided 3 million rides in its 12 years of operation.  But in 2008, it was sold on eBay for $132,400.  Half of the money was donated to the Special Olympics.  Its replacement Ferris Wheel cost $1.5 million.
