Twisted Colossus
One of the innovative features added by Rocky Mountain Construction
is this "high-five" element. The blue track is banked to the left, and the green track is banked to the right, so if the trains are
side-by-side at this point, it almost looks like riders can reach up and high five riders on the other track.
Due to the forces imposed on the tracks, some steel beams were used to hold the rails in place. Many of the steel beams were painted white, so they blend in with the original wood structure.
