Apocalypse The Ride
As of 2016, Six Flags Magic Mountain has 19 roller coasters, but Apocalypse is the only one that is a wood roller coaster.   (Twisted Colossus retains most of the wood supports from the original Colossus coaster, but since it has steel track, it is now classified as a steel coaster.)  Some of the supports have been replaced by pressure-treated wood that is much darker than the original boards.  It is not uncommon to see 5 to 10 percent of a wood coaster replaced in any given year, so fresh wood here is a sign that this coaster is being maintained well.
