Superman The Escape
Superman The Escape's tower is 415 feet tall.  At the top of the tower is a huge Superman figure.

This ride is similar to Australia's Tower of Terror.  Both shared the title of fastest rides on the planet since the trains are accelerated by the LSMs to 100 miles per hour.  Tower of Terror officially opened first, so it is considered to be the first coaster to achieve 100 miles per hour.

As of 2008, only three other roller coasters have topped 100 miles per hour:  Kingda Ka reaches 128 miles per hour, Top Thrill Dragster reaches 120, and Dodonpa hits nearly 107 miles per hour.
