Gold Rusher
Gold Rusher debuted when Magic Mountain opened in May 1971.  Besides this ride, four others remain from the park's first season: Grand Carousel, the Orient Express funicular railway, Sandblasters bumper cars, and the Sky Tower 38-story observation tower.

This turnaround is the same seen in the previous picture.  Besides the growth in the trees, the area didn't change much over the last decade.
