Full Throttle
Here is a close-up view of a little track at the end of the ride. The trains pass from the left to the right of this picture. The
metal brake fins are visible in the track. Since they simply interact with magnets below the
cars, this braking system is fail-safe and doesn't require any electrical or pneumatic power to operate. Since the train is slowing here, the forces imposed on the track are
slowly being reduced, so the track's spine transitions to a smaller diameter as the train passes this area.
