Little Amerricka
Marshall, Wisconsin

Located just east of Madison, Wisconsin, Little Amerricka is a small park literally surrounded by farmer's fields.  The park was originally called Little A-Merrick-A from 1991 through 2006.  The park is owned by Lee Merrick, which explains the park's unusual spelling of its name.  The park is home of the Whisky River Railway, one of the most amazing train rides I have ever seen.  The small engines, including one built in 1919, are real steam locomotives which are remarkably well maintained and look wonderful.  The track's long circuit provides views of various live animals.

In October 2003, the park purchased Little Dipper from the defunct Hillcrest Park in Lemont, Illinois.  It opened here in 2007.  It was designed by Herbert Paul Schmeck and was originally built in 1956 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company.  In Little Amerricka, it is called Meteor.
