Rattler

This was one of the most beautiful coasters I have seen.  Unfortunately, I was not very impressed when I rode the coaster.  As a wood coaster, it was very rough and not enjoyable.

After just two years of operation, Rattler's first drop was modified.  The bottom of the first drop (shown on the left) went down almost all the way to the water when the coaster was built.  After the changes, the track here was raised 40 feet, so the largest drop for most of Rattler's lifetime was only 124 feet.
