Gold Striker

After a few weeks of operation, Gold Striker was closed to further deaden the sounds it produces.   The trains weren't all that loud, but people screaming during the ride caused the decibel reading at a nearby building to slightly exceed agreed to levels.  The covering over the track furthest from this vantage point was added in early July 2013 to further dampen the noise.  The ride reopened after only a few days of work.
