Rocky Mountain Construction was founded in 2001 by Fred Grubb and Suanne Dedmon. Based in Hayden, Idaho, the company created miniature golf courses and water parks, and also assisted with the construction of some roller coasters. They then went on to develop Topper Track that replaced the top layers of wood on wooden roller coaster track. Topper Track has partially replaced the track on Cyclone at Six Flags New England, Georgia Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia, Tremors at Silverwood Theme Park , and Le Monstre at La Ronde.
