Every four-seat car has only one pair of wheels that are situated in the back of the car. This makes the "Zero Car" in the front of each train necessary since every passenger car requires attachment to a car in front of it.
In the back of each car, a white electronics box sits between the seats. Four lights on each box indicate if the lapbars are locked. These serve as a backup to indicators operators use in the loading platform.
